I want my book to help people who are facing or who are experiencing similar types to my situation and heartbreak. You are not alone. We have all felt it , or will, at some point. It is a dark time, but know that you are loved, and you need to embrace the people around you, as they are there for you. If you feel you do not have anyone around you, please do not hesitate to reach out to people, the community here, or even to me. You are supported. You are loved. If you are in a deeper despair as I once was, and see no way out, please call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline). Trust me - the easy way out, means that the ones who hurt you, win. Just as I stated in my book - do not, let them win.
It is unfortunately a true story, and a crazy one at that. The initial goal of my book was for self-therapy; as I was in a dark place due to the whole situation. Once I sorted my thoughts on the history of my love life, I saw how much I went through and the decisions I had made. Many decisions were poor, but I was proud of myself in the end for the decisions I made, specifically in the attempts to win back, what I thought was the love of my life, to no avail. Writing it out helped me tremendously mentally, because I realized that I am a catch, I have value, and any partner would be lucky to be with me. Jane chose not to listen or communicate, and chose to abandon the relationship. In the end, I made it out the other side and am faring much better. It is a disappointment and a shame to lose such a great relationship with so much potential, but in the end, I learned Jane was not strong enough to fight for the relationship; whereas, I was.
